I had a shower yesterday, it's not good for my coat because it washes off the natural oils, but I was just a bit smelly after all the upsets recently. I really enjoyed it and made sure Claire got very wet too.

I'm feeling much better now, growing fast and putting weight back on. I had my stitches out this week and was ever so good about it. I also had my second vaccination jab so I shall be able to go out soon to explore the world.

The cat still doesn't know what to make of me and swears a lot but if I rush him fast enough I have found I can give his face a really good wash before he realises what's happening; one morning I was a bit clumsy and head-butted him as I rushed in and guess what? Yes, he swore at me again.

Despite the attempts of my people to make me look like a space dog I can still eat, drink, bark at the cat, tear up the newspaper by the back door, chew anything I shouldn't and scoff this bit of cheese someone dropped.

Sorry to have been a long while making an update but I've been very poorly. I've been into the Vets to have an operation and am only just starting to pick up. For the first time since I got to my new home I'm enjoying my food and putting on weight.

Here's a picture of me sharpening my teeth ready for my next meal; I'm on five a day now to build me and and to make sure I don't eat too much all at once and hurt my tummy again.
